2018-2019 Executive Board

President: Alyssa Jackson. Alyssa is a Senior Public/Mass Communications major with a double minor in Marketing and Management. On campus, she also serves as the Vice President of Professional Development for the American Marketing Association and Vice President of Publicity for Women in Business. This year, she’s working as a CE Marketing Intern for TCNJ’s Res Ed Department and also serving as a Brand Ambassador for Atleto, a social sports application used to coordinate club and recreational sports at the college. Alyssa’s goal is to work in PR or HR for a NYC firm after graduation next spring.

Vice President of Programming: Kristen Frohlich. Kristen is a junior Communication Studies (specialization in public/mass) major with minors in Marketing and Psychology. In addition to LPH, Kristen is a Social Media Intern for Records and Registration, Social Media & PR Chair for Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, and a Resident Assistant (RA) in Campus Town. Kristen wants to work for a PR/ Marketing firm or A non profit organization! Eventually, she also want to get her masters in PR so she can become a professor. Fun Fact: Kristen is an USA and Switzerland dual citizen but she has never been to Switzerland!

Treasurer: Kiersten Newkirk. Kiersten is a senior Public/Mass Communication Studies major with minors in Linguistics and Management. She’s a proud founder of the TCNJ Ski & Snowboard Club, as well as an active member of All College Theatre and TCNJ Musical Theatre. As a lover of travel, she enjoys helping students plan study abroad experiences as the CE Intern for the Center for Global Engagement. She is excited to use her lessons and adventures at TCNJ to launch a career in event planning/management.

Vice President of Scholarship and Membership: Madison Storcella. Madison  is a senior Public & Mass Communications major with minors in Marketing & Management. At TCNJ, Madison also serves as Vice President of Philanthropic Service for Sigma Kappa, Fundraising Chair for TCNJam, Vice President for Society for Human Resources Management and is a Student Ambassador for the School of Arts & Communications. In terms of experience, Madison has previously interned for Legends at Yankee Stadium doing Premium Events, 94.5 PST On Air and in Promotions,  Fox News, and News America Marketing in a Sales & Account Management role. In fact, she just accepted a full time job offer as an Account Coordinator for News America post graduation! Fun Fact: Madison has road tripped across the country!

Vice President of Communications: Nawal Mubin. Nawal is a senior communication studies major on a pre law track. Nawal is part of the Communication student advisory board, she is a member of the Muslim students association, as well as part of residential education where she works as a desk assistant. She currently works part time at a law firm and hopes to go to law school and become a lawyer. She wants to specifically focus on entertainment or family law! Fun Fact: Nawal was born in Dubai!

Vice President of Publicity: Jessica Celona. Jessica is a senior communication studies major with a double minor in marketing and communication disorders. In addition to her VP of publicity position with LPH, Jessica is also on the executive board of Golden Key International Honour Society as the public relations coordinator. She is a member of the co-ed business fraternity, PSE, as well as being a member of the community service organization, Student United Way. Additionally, Jessica is a member of the Communications Department Student Advisory Board.Jessica wants to pursue a career in the field of marketing/PR. She is currently growing her own business selling #1 dermatology skincare products. Jessica also just finished a summer internship at Merrill Lynch Bank of America. Fun Fact: Jessica is a triplet!

Roar Newsletter Editor: Allison Kroepfl. Allison is a senior Communication Studies and Visual Arts student specializing in Radio/Television/Film and Graphic Design. She has served as the Treasurer and Social Media and Public Relations Director for TCNJ Lions Television. She has held three set design leadership roles as part of TCNJ Musical Theatre and All College Theatre productions. She is currently the public relations director for the Kappa Pi Art Honor Fraternity, an active member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and Editor of the Roar for Lambda Pi Eta Communication Studies Honor Society. She has successfully completed three internships during her time at the college and is looking forward to graduate school in the future.

Roar Newsletter Editor: Kristine Spike. Kristine is a junior Interpersonal/organizational communications major with a minor in philosophy. Beyond her role as editor of the Roar, Kristine is also President of club swim, Vice President of Sports Club Counsel, Social Media Intern for The Streetlight newspaper, and member of Dancers of New Jersey. Outside of TCNJ she is a brand ambassador for Sand Cloud – a clothing company dedicated to water life conservation. Kristine’s current goal is to get into a great graduate school program.
